Your memories are used only to power your own Brain. They are never sold, never shared with advertisers, and never used to train public AI models. Our AI providers process your data under strict confidentiality agreements and do not retain it beyond the immediate request.
All data is stored securely via our backend infrastructure with encryption at rest and in transit (TLS 1.3). We maintain regular backups and follow industry-standard security practices.
When you connect integrations such as Slack, Gmail, Google Drive, or Notion, BrainVault only reads the data you explicitly authorize. You can revoke access at any time from your Integrations settings.
For Business plans, company administrators (CEOs, admins, managers) can view team member activity and shared knowledge within their organization. Admins cannot access private personal vaults unless explicitly shared by the user.
You can export your entire Brain or delete your account and all associated data at any time from your Profile settings. Deletion is permanent and irreversible.
We use minimal cookies — only for authentication sessions and essential app functionality. No tracking or advertising cookies.
BrainVault is not intended for users under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us immediately.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. For major changes, we will notify you via email or an in-app notice at least 30 days before they take effect.
